Matthew Feargrieve has advised investment managers for more than twenty years on lifecycle issues, from fund vehicle establishment, to first offering, through portfolio transactional activity and M&A, to exit and wind-down.
In addition to providing managers with domicile and structuring advice, Matthew Feargrieve also advises managers on investor relations and liquidity management, including redemption suspensions and gating, and on side letter terms with key investors and multi-class share structuring.
Matthew Feargrieve also assists managers with negotiating and documenting the terms of the fund's key service provider and vendor contracts, including the investment management agreement and investment advisory agreements, the administration agreement, the custodian agreement and the prime brokerage agreement.
